When customers purchase Panlite® Polycarbonate, Multilon® PC/ABS and other PC alloys from Teijin Kasei America, they are assured of receiving resins that were manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Teijin Chemicals has demonstrated its commitment to quality manufacturing and environmental responsibility in various ways. After receiving ISO9002 certification for all product quality systems at the Matsuyama and Mihara plants, Teijin obtained EQNET (now known as IQNET) certification in 1993 —the first company in Japan to earn this designation. This was followed by ISO9001 certification for the Matsuyama plant and the Chiba Plastics Technical Center, plus IS09002 certification for the Singapore plant.
Demonstrating the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility, Teijin Chemicals’ Matsuyama plant also received ISO14001 certification which regulates environmental managing systems.
Additionally, for four consecutive years, Teijin has been ranked as a leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI). Among the evaluation criteria of these international indexes are a company's efforts in such areas as environmental preservation, safety, ethics, and community involvement.
